Commonwealth Walkway

His Royal Highness Prince Edward presented the first marker for the Ghana Commonwealth Walkway to the Paramount Chief in Jamestown, Ghana on 26 May 2016.

Special thanks to Hannah Gates, our key representative in Africa, for personally delivering the marker to Ghana and to British High Commissioner, Jon Benjamin and his team for their support with making all the necessary arrangements.

The Trust drafted a potential route in James Town on 13 February 2016.  The Walkway connects 18 points of significance on a 12km path.

The Trust looks forward to working closely with Oblempong Nii Kojo Ababio V, Paramount Chief of James Town, Ghana to develop the Walkway in the near future.
